The children were exploring the big question: "Has Christmas lost its true meaning?" We read the nativity story in the Bible and discussed what Christmas means to us and our families. Christmas card images helped us think more about what the meaning of Christmas might be. We felt that the overriding message was one of joy, hope and peace brought by the angels on different occasions and decided that this is a positive message both for us and for many around the world today.
