This term we returned to our learning about Hinduism and in particular, a Hindu's pilgrimage to the River Ganges. We were learning about the significance of this iconic river for both a Hindu and non-Hindu believer and enjoyed a lively debate "Is a holy journey necessary for believers?" We discovered that for many Hindus, the water holds significant purifying properties that cleanse and help bring about salvation. In outdoor learning, we enjoyed using water to clean and tidy the pathways into school.
