I made a bee water for all the bee's that coming into the garden. They love visiting the strawberry's and getting nectar from them so they might be thirsty so its nice that they can have a drink.

I have recreated this piece of art 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'. The artwork was by a Dutch man called Johannes Vermeer.
We had to do many takes of my dog, Honey. She wasn't keen on having her ears tucked away :)

I took on Mrs Cleal's challenge of making a sock puppet. I chose to make two called Molly and Dolly. I decorated the socks with cut up strips of material and paper for their hair and buttons for their eyes and noses. Hope you like them.

We recreated the painting 'Café Concert' by Manet. The painting is of 3 people in a French café. I represented the man with the top hat.

I did your challenge in my garden. Some of the letters were quite tricky because unfortunately we don't own a Zebra or a Kangaroo!

I went around Madley Park on my scooter to complete the alphabet challenge.
Z was the zebra crossing outside woodgreen school and Q was a queue outside coop. The were tricky ones! It was a lot of fun.

I made a den using a blanket and clothes pegs and made it really cosy with lots of blankets and pillows. I read Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors and The War of Jenkins' Ear by Michael Morpurgo in my den. I have also been sleeping in my den every night which is fun!

I made a postcard for my teacher Mrs Mason. I cycled to North Leigh and posted it in the black box. This was the first time I cycled to school.

I recreated the painting Lady with an Ermine by Da Vinci. I used my Ferret called Lock. Ferrets are in the same family as Ermines. It was a fun thing to do. We had to take quite a few pictures because Lock wouldn't stay still.

Comments:
C took on the challenge to design a postcard to Mrs Mason telling her what she has been doing during lockdown. We then took on the additional "fitness challenge" of cycling to school from Madley park to hand delivery the letter. C has never cycled that far before and was happy to achieve it and post her letter :-)

I chose the last supper painting by Leonardo Da Vinci and me and my mum had to find Lego characters and mix and match the outfits so they looked as similar as possible! It was quite hard searching for the right figures since they were all scattered in different places! We even found food, cups, and a really long table!

I thought I would put the bee waterer near the rosemary bush near the pond so the bees can get water, as well as food! As soon as I put down the pot I didn't quite spot a bee but I saw a spider already chilling on the stone! (Or drinking!) I hope the insects enjoy a little drink through the warm summer sun!

Comments:
I collected slate rocks and placed them in the tray with smaller rocks at the bottom. Then filled it with water. Now the bees can have a drink and if they fall in, the rocks will help them crawl back out.

I made a den in my lounge out of a lilo, blankets and cushions. I'm now going to settle down to have a read of my Star Wars book in it. It was fun building it and now I'm going to relax.
