RE Day 6
We started the day applying our recent learning in geometry by making cubes. We designed each face of the cube to represent some aspect of us, thinking about what we mean to the people in our lives: daughter, son, cousin, friend, sister, nephew, after school club member etc. We learnt that Hindus believe Brahman takes many different forms and means different things to different people. A couple of short learning clips helped us to learn more about how Hindu deities are used in the home, in puja and at the mandir. In the afternoon, we spent some time learning about the most commonly known Hindu gods and goddesses before writing our own poems to describe the many forms of Brahman. To finish the day, we designed our own god or goddess to represent something that is particularly meaningful to us.
