Sadako Sasaki inspired drama
Rowan enjoyed learning about the true story of Sadako Sasaki and the Thousand Paper Cranes through a drama workshop led by West End Musicals in Schools. They warmed up with some drama games and then explored key events of the story through freeze frames and a soundscape, working in pairs and groups. Rowan also enjoyed making koinobori, carp streamers, traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Children's Day each May.
