Term 2 RE Week
As part of our RE work based around the question 'Is the Christmas story true?' we investigated Matthew and Luke's versions of the Christmas story from the bible. We discovered that in Luke, the shepherds told everyone of the birth of Jesus but in Matthew, it is the 3 kings who share this news. We discussed, shared, watched videos, listened to stories, wrote, created story maps and finally put all of this together to help us form our own opinions in relation to our investigation question.
We then used our artistic skills to create a silhouetted nativity scene, including the people who we thought had been present at the birth of Jesus. We then used these scenes to create our Age UK Christmas cards. |
