Mrs HillI am delighted to work with the wonderful team at North Leigh Primary School as the Early Years Teacher. I have a degree in English Literature and a PGCE, specialising in Early Years and Early Childhood Studies from Westminster College, Oxford.
I love teaching the children in reception and watching their confidence grow in their first year of school, and I never fail to be amazed at what the children can achieve. I enjoy working with a small team of Early Years professionals creating a stimulating environment where every child is motivated to learn and happy at school. I am passionate about reading and that all children should see reading as a pleasure for life. I love reading with children and helping them to learn the skill of reading for themselves.
Alongside my role as class teacher and Early Years Coordinator, I also coordinate Outdoor Learning for the school and I am a qualified Forest School Leader. I am enthusiastic about providing outdoor learning opportunities for all the children and developing the woodland and wildlife areas on our school site.
In my spare time, I love travelling to see new parts of the world, visiting the theatre, spending time with family and friends and walking my dog.
Please find powerpoint presentations and resources from our meeting in school (1.11.21). Thank you to all those who attended.
