Café assemblies: Willow Class

Willow Class presented their learning from their Geography topic: "Europe". They kick started their presentation with an interactive ipad quiz for their parents, identifying and naming all the countries of Europe on a map. Then the children delivered different elements of all that they had learned across the curriculum this term. They read biographies of Claude Monet, showed their paintings of his Water Lillies and talked proudly of their new found love of impressionism. They also read persuasive texts they'd written about Paris, demonstrating all that they had learned about this famous city and its landmarks. In Science, they showed us labelled diagrams of the inner ear and the conclusion they drew from their sound waves investigation. We also enjoyed listening to the children order breakfast from a French cafe, demonstrate their skills in netball and explain the relationship between the foods included on the Seder plate and the Jewish beliefs about Passover.
