Ash Class are designing and making a huipil (a Maya blouse) for their teddies as part of their learning in DT. They designed the huipil on paper and added detail of the embroidered design they would be adding. They made a pattern using paper that fitted their teddy which they then pinned to fabric and cut out. The next step was to draw their design in pencil onto the fabric ready to be embroidered. They will sew their garments together using the sewing machine.
