This week, we were using the sewing machine again, sewing up the side seams and then checking the huipil actually fitted our teddy. We had to work out how large to make the arm holes as the teddy’s arms varied considerably in circumference. Most of us had never used a sewing machine before and were impressed at how quickly it could sew.
