Harvest 2021
This year we held our Harvest Celebration in the form of a Cafe Church together with the church community of St Mary's, North Leigh in our school hall. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together for a welcome breakfast before Margaret and the children led us in our Harvest Service. A Sustainable Harvest was the theme for our sharing together. Drawing on our global learning about sustainability and exploring our new School Vision during our daily Collective Worship, we have been discovering more about what it means to "make a positive difference as global neighbours". The children enjoyed sharing their learning, as well as leading us in a time of sung worship and prayer. A time of reflection provided the opportunity for each of us to consider a change that we could adopt, as a sign of our commitment to the future of a sustainable planet. Harvest food items were gratefully received and will be donated to the work of Besom, a local charity, seeking to support those who find themselves in need at this time.
